Today started off great again with a small prayer to not stress and to not stop shining :)
Casey met me for lunch, we got "Some Bagels", and then headed down to the river.
We made an epic rock tower, had good conversation, listened to some great tunes, and he had his first ride in the snarly Chevy beast! haha
After school I picked up my tennis uniforms; then Meryn and I headed to the base of Badger to meet up with the team for the team hike up the Mtn.
It was perfect weather for us to go up, but I could still feel the burn...urrggg haha
Our first match is tomorrow, and some team bondage was definately necessary.
Then I went to work, and wasn't that fun :)
Colton asked me to find the "DVD Rewinder"
He said we got some new ones in stock and he needed one for a customer.
It took me aproximately 20 seconds to register that DVDs do not need to be rewound.
Oh Boy. haha
Overall another fabulous day to nearly end an overall great week.
Spring break is creeping up, and I am oh so ready for it.
My conclusion for the day.
Small morning prayer for the day, while sitting in my car, makes quite the difference.
That small connection with God before venturing out into the world charges me up.
I'm the one in the hallways saying "Good Morning!" to all the highschool zombies before 1st hour.
And there's no way I could have that energy or positive mindset without God's help.
Being that happy in the morning is just not normal ;)
Best way to start off the day! Dang, the rock tower looks 10 times sweeter in this pic. Shelob's absence isn't missed.
ReplyDeleteI really like your "Morning Conclusion." Totally agree. If I don't, I feel like everything I do, I do in my own strength; which always proves fail.
Oh so true before first hour I am pretty much a zombie. I'll try and take your advice and pray before school!
