A God Moment

Tonight I cried.

After our family bonfire lakeside, I stayed down while the rest hiked back up to go to bed.

Tonight I dedided I was going to spend the night in the boathouse loft.

Most of the night though was spent out on the dock.

I layed out using my backpack as my pillow, stuck my earbuds in, and just layed on my back, looking at the stars.

There was an unimmaginable amount of stars. We are far enough away from the city that it's dark enough to see so many of them.

When I look at so many stars many things go through my mind.

The main one being a self evaluation of how small I am compared to the universe.

I look up and see how vast and huge the sky is, and I feel small.

Then I think about how even though I'm so small, God cares about me.

He has an awesome plan for my little life.

Tiny me laying out on the dock on the lake.

He sees me. He loves me. He listens to me.

As I was listening to "Our God is Greater" by Chris Tomlin, the tears started coming.

And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?


The God who made all of the stars I was looking at is for me.
Who can stop me?
What can stand against?
It's overwhelming sometimes to think about.
As the tears started coming, I looked up and the shooting stars started falling.
Eight of them.
Then I started bawling.
God is real.
I'm not sure how someone could not believe.
It doesn't matter if you've messed up.
He forgives.

2 Timothy 2:11

If we died with him,

we will also live with him

If we endure,

we will also reign with him;

If we disown him,

he will also disown us;

If we are faithless,

he will remain faithful...

He won't give up on you.

Take a leap of faith.

If you're truly wanting to live a life that's worthwhile and meaningful.

Live it for God.
