Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Blackout Poetry

I'm not very good at it, but I enjoy it and like how it looks :)

Before I Die
What a neat project.
I would love to bring something like this to Pullman.
It's inspirational.
And what an incredible career

Look in the sky. They're skittles! They're crayons! No, it's Third Wheel and L-Dawg!

How could something this perfect NOT be planned you might ask?
Because Rob and I know what's up in the fashion department.
We know you have to wear a rain jacket when it's raining. Why not make it bright?
We also know that if you happen to have shoes that match, it would be a sin not to wear them.
So that's how that happened.
I will never completely understand its awesomeness.
Maybe someday.

Stop Running

Hebrews 12:11
No discipline seems pleasant at the time,
but painful.
Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness
and peace for those who have been trained by it.
God disciplines us because he loves us.
He gets nothing out of it.
Believe it or not he doesn't like seeing us struggle.
That is why discipline could be the greatest showing of his love.
Hebrews 12:9
Moreover, we have all had human fathers who
disciplined us and we respected them for it.
How much more should we submit to
the Father of our spirits and live!
God is our father.
He knows best.
Stop running from him.
Turn to him. Lean on him. Call on him.
He is all we need.

Beard Smiley

Will and I caught a glimpse of sunshine today.
Sat outside on the Mexi-Blanket and did some studying.
Attempted to tan my legs.
Still a work in progress.
I'm getting addicted to these panorama shots.
They're so easy and fun to edit.

[Eric and I have different ways of showing our excitement]
Art Attack Up All Night was super sick.
David Garibaldi is incredible.
He pumps out those paintings in about 6 minutes.
You could give me days and I still couldn't come up with something that good.
Sean Carson came late because of a long list of unfortunate events lol.
I got a hug, picture, and small talk so I was happy.
Our goofy picture was my favorite.

"I'm her mom""No she's not"

We have had some pretty stinking great weather lately.
I sat outside to do some of my reading today.
I can't wait until I can make it a routine to do hw outside.
Pack up my mexi-blanket, capri-sun, and books in the backpack and find a nice spot under a tree.
That's what I always imagined college would be like.
Finding favorite spots to sit outside.
Enjoy being independent.
We went and saw Tangled at the CUB tonight.
It was pretty darling. Katie and I brought out snuggies and were the coolest people there.
So many hilarious side comments but that's what makes going to the movies fun, right?
All I can say is that I'm excited for Katie's birthday next year. I'm glad I have a long time to prepare.
I'm not exactly sure how to make a floating candle yet..

Creation '09
I was looking through the album and found this picture.
It's different, but I really like it for some reason.
This is also an old picture, but I've done some HDR editing to it.
Kind of cool except for the nasty mud on the hat lol.

Dinner with a Schmuck

Sleepover with the bestie.
This picture is perfect because I feel like I was laughing the entire night.
Kitchen freestylin.
Found ourselves a fetus carrot.
Made a secret handshake.
We're not quite finished yet lol.
I have the greatest best friend in the world.
I know I say that a lot but I truly mean it.
No one will ever be able to replace Jessi :)

Not Yet a Belieber, but No Longer Hatin'

He's still a punk.
But after watching his movie I have a lot of thinking to do.
He's way more talented than I gave him credit for.
He also seems like a pretty fun kiddo.
I don't care if he's 17.
He will forever be a child in my eyes.
Sorry Biebs.
I was laughing the entire time because if Justin wasn't doing something funny, the screaming girls around him were. Fantastic really.
Best line of the movie:

On a Whim

Meryn was having a bad day today,
so I kidnapped the little booger after dinner and we went out to chase the sunset.
I blindfolded her so she wouldn't know where we were going.
Fruity mentos and awesome jams filled our evening.
I am blessed to have such a silly spud for a sister :)

Weekend with the best friend.
Months at a time separate us now that we're in college so it makes getting to see her more special than ever.
My first time stopping in Ellensburg and staying longer than getting gas!
It is such a cute little town. Way cuter than I imagined it :)
We learned how to make coffee at her church and now both have a new passion for it.
We want to open a coffee shop together more than ever now.
Photo walk, intense thrift shopping, ice cream, movie. You know. Best Friend stuff :)
What a fantastic weekend, and I get to see her again when she comes home Thursday!
Life is good :)

I Would Do it All Again

I've heard it said that a man would climb a mountain
Just to be with the one he loves.
How many times has he broken that promise
It has never been done.
I've never climbed the highest mountain,
But I walked the hill of Calvary.

Just to be with you, I will do anything
There's no price I would not pay no
Just to be with you, I would give everything
I would give my life away.

I've heard it said that a man would swim the ocean
Just to be with the one he loves
All of those dreams are an empty motion.
It can never be done.
I've never swam the deepest ocean,
But I walked upon the raging sea.

Just to be with you, I will do anything
There's no price I would not pay no
Just to be with you, I would give everything
I would give my life away.

I know that you don't understand
the fullness of My love.
How I died upon the cross for your sins.
And I know that you don't realize
how much that I give you
But I promise, I would do it all again.

Just to be with you, I've done everything
There's no price I did not pay no
Just to be with you, I gave everything
Yes, I gave my life away.
Just to be with you.

-Third Day [Love Song]

God would do it all again. He's literally done everything. It's hurts my head to think about it sometimes. It's so unbelievable. How could I daily forget something like that? I live my life stressed out about school, what I'm going to wear, whether I should make a big purchase. These things are so incredibly small and unimportant. God died on the cross for my sins so that I could live an amazing life on earth and when I die go to heaven to be with him for eternity.  I let ridiculous things bring down my experience here on earth and when I think about what God sacrificed for me, it's not fair at all.  I need to refocus. Earthly things cannot consume my life.

[I wish I had made this. So clever.]

Today my boss told me that she could totally see me smoking a lot of pot.
She said she knows I wouldn't, but I'm so relaxed and chill all the time.
I cracked up. She told me after I played this song for her, and asked if I could work with no shoes on. Oh and she knows my showering [or lack of] habits.
I am not a hippie. Well sort of. But no. haha.
I love my boss. We have such an interesting relationship :)

Mind Barf

A stigmatism? No. An astigmatism.
An arubix cube? No. A rubix cube.
These were life changing moments when the realization of these misspellings were brought to my attention.
Just thought you might want to know.
Spring break starts tomorrow. I couldn't be more ready.
After a weekend with my sis and best friend it's going to be a relaxing week of studying, reading, and studying.
I'm stoked to see my family.
Another random thought.
Justin Beiber turned 17 a couple days ago. Unreal.
Wow, my mind is going A.D.D. with this blog post.
My plan is to take lots of pictures during spring break.
I'm upload them on this blog because I've given up fb for lent. Woohoo! Deactivated and everything. So wonderful :D
Kay well that's all.
I'm so tired.

Modern Family: The Adamis

Malibu, Canada: Summer Staff: Session 1: Totem Trader
I am unbelievably excited:
to be in one of the most beautiful places in the world
to take pictures
to go on adventures
to meet incredible people
to experience God
to watch God affect lives
to be working the same job my mom did when she was on summer staff :)
The snow has finally melted.
I am one camper of happiness.
Sami - "Your family sounds like their own comedy show"
It's true. And next Friday the full cast will be back together :)
