Stop Running

Hebrews 12:11

No discipline seems pleasant at the time,

but painful.

Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness

and peace for those who have been trained by it.

God disciplines us because he loves us.

He gets nothing out of it.

Believe it or not he doesn't like seeing us struggle.
That is why discipline could be the greatest showing of his love.

Hebrews 12:9

Moreover, we have all had human fathers who 

disciplined us and we respected them for it. 

How much more should we submit to 

the Father of our spirits and live!

God is our father.

He knows best.

Stop running from him.

Turn to him. Lean on him. Call on him.

He is all we need.
