Controversial Celebration

"The only death that ever accomplished anything, that is ever worth celebrating, is Jesus. Osama was a dearly loved child of God that He would have rather him turn from his evil than perish in his evil. Not at all worth celebrating." - Melynda O'Brien

“I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
— Martin Luther King Jr.

  1. Hey Laurel, I can certainly what you are saying here and yes I do agree with you "That Osama bin Laden shouldn't be revered as a troubled soul, although he was because of "HIS Choices in life and what he DID with the path he choose for his way of seeing the world." Now here is why I am wishing we all still have universal communication instead of so many different language barriers throughout the world, yet as both you and I know our Heavenly Father DID this for a reason so that we can all learn to coming to HIM through HIS SON Jesus is what matters the most in life. Still through Bin Laden's death can we ever truly stop terror at any given level I think with time yes. STILL WE HAVE TO BE WILLING TO OPEN OUR OWN EYES AS WELL ALL AROUND US! But PRAYERFUL PRAYING WOULDN'T HURT EITHER to help our enemies understand that fear only begets fear even/especially when expressing it through actions whatever those said actions are?
