Day 1. Drive.

I’m sitting in the car, just thinking about the hectic day, and so glad that we’re on the road finally. School was stressful, then we headed to our Southridge match only to find Lizzy and her car completely smashed as we drove up. That shook us up. Let’s go ahead and mention as well that it was windier than heck outside. NOT IDEAL. Wind ruins sports, hair, and car doors. That’s all it does. But things got better :) I had the best cheering section [Loreal showed up as my sponsor haha], and even though Elinor and I lost, I still managed to get a few aces. Once the emotional and unsettling last minute packing was done, we headed out. Lots of laughs. Meryn and I drank our frappachinos (that had turned into ice cream when we accidently froze them too long). I wore my Toms with naked feet [barefoot], and have decided it is the most wonderful feeling. I’m going to stick in the earbuds now and try to fall asleep…as our car gets attacked by tumbleweeds, rain, and wind :)
